I’m certainly late on the TV sitcom band-wagon, but I recently became hooked on How I Met Your Mother. It started when I saw a couple episodes here and there from the previous and current season. Now I’m starting all the way on season one and working my way up. I’m about half-way through the first season now.
Robin sure is pretty :]
After the Thanksgiving meal, I went out and watched Rain’s debut American film, Ninja Assassin. It actually turned out to be better than I thought. Bloodier too!
It’s interesting to see a Korean be the featured star in a Hollywood film. Hopefully it will open doors for more in the future.
Listening to Clipse’s new album, Til the Casket Drops. Liking what I hear so far.
I’m blown away by the sheer amount of musical talent that’s found on YouTube. I love to watch talented musicians/artists record a simple, yet honest home video of themselves doing what they’re so passionate about. I remember seeing Justin Bieber’s videos a little while back and enjoyed the different r&b covers of famous artists. Apparently Usher did as well and signed him to his label. Great find, Usher.
Chris Brown - Crawl
His image is pretty much ruined, and rightfully so. But I still enjoy his music though. Oh, I’m still not a fan of Cassie’s half-shaved-head hairstyle.
If you were to ask me “Who is your dream client that you would like to work with?” my immediate answer would be Nike. Even before I became a designer, I was always in awe of Nike. Back during my teen years, my friends and I, and many many other avid sneakerheads across the globe sought after exclusive Nike releases. Crazy isn’t it? To wait hours in line, rain or shine, for “that” pair of Nikes. I, however, am no longer in the sneaker game, but I am still very much in awe of Nike. Now, more from a design perspective.
Nike’s designs span across many different mediums, and each division of Nike is well executed—from their branding, photography, typography, interactive/web, in-store displays/graphics, and of course, their sneakers.
Above is just a few pages from their brochure on their new line of hoodies. I wish I had the printed version of it.
Ahh, this sure brings back memories! Probably one of the most beloved video games while I was a youngster. Can’t wait for it to come out for the WIi. :]
2PM’s new single, Tired of Waiting, has been stuck in my head for the past couple days. Take a listen below.
There are music artists out there that just radiate talent and I think Taylor Swift is that type of artist. Even before the whole Kanye incident, she appeared on my radar. I was very impressed with the fact that she writes all her own songs. After listening to Fearless, I became a fan. Who knew I’d listen to country? She recently just re-released Fearless with new additional tracks. Billboard.com is a site I check often and it was no surprise to me to see 6 different songs of hers on the Top 50 list.
I would have to say that’s talent right there.
